AirMedia takes advantage of Apple's AirPlay technology for casting.Remember to terminate your connection when you are done. You now need only to switch over to the app on your device that you want to display from.Pause stops your screen from displaying but maintains a connection.If you don't, your device will continue casting to the room display, even if you leave the room.
Remember to terminate your connection once you have finished presenting. Once connected to the receiver you will see the text 'Playing' in the bottom right corner next to a signal strength indicator. The main application window will come into focus. Remember, connection codes change every time you make a connection and are only valid for that particular session. Enter the code and click Connect to complete your connection.Enter the hostname details indicated on the touch panel screen and click Connect. See Accessing Sheridan's Network for details. Make sure you are connected to one of Sheridan's secure wireless networks ( Sheridan Secure Access or Eduroam) or have a wired network connection. Launch the AirMedia app from your device.Using the podium's touch panel, select the Wireless Presentation option on the display – the wireless presentation details you'll need to connect the app will appear at the bottom of the screen.In addition, you can cast your screen into a quad. If you click the drop down arrow next to Details you can see more information and will have the option to change the video source from your primary and secondary screens.The volume control will control your audio volume and can also mute and unmute the audio.The Pause button will freeze your computer display so that what is on the display will stay there until you click Resume.The Stop Button will prevent your computer from casting until you hit Start. When connected, this screen should appear.Enter the code displayed on the upper right side of the AirMedia device.
